Catalogue format, free in PowerPoint and Canva

A product catalogue format that sells from images: the page structure, the fields per product, and free files in PowerPoint and Canva. Sample included.

The files, first

Free, no forms: a product catalogue format with a filled sample catalogue and a blank version in each file — built page-first, because a catalogue is a book before it is a list.

What a catalogue format must contain

The image, large

The catalogue’s whole job is to be looked at. Everything else on the page is caption.

Name and code, readable aloud

So the order placed over the phone survives the phone.

The two or three specs that decide

Size, finish, material. Not the full datasheet — that is a different document, for a different reader.

Price, or deliberately no price

A catalogue with rates ages like a rate list. One without stays current, and moves the price conversation to you.

Few products to a page

Generously spaced. Nine items crammed to a page reads as a godown, not as a range.

Contact details on every spread

Pages travel alone in this trade, and the cover is the first thing to go missing.

Catalogue format in PowerPoint

The odd-sounding choice is deliberate: PowerPoint is a layout tool wearing a presentation tool's name — fixed page size, drag-anywhere images, effortless alignment.

For a self-made catalogue it beats Word comfortably, exports to PDF cleanly, and nobody has to learn anything new.

Catalogue format in Canva

The Canva version carries the same page structures with design already applied — brand it in minutes, print or share as a link.

A version for your trade, free

A tiles catalogue and a lighting catalogue want different pages.

Tell us your trade and a fitted version arrives on your email and WhatsApp.

Where the format runs out

A catalogue file is finished the day you export it — and outdated the day your range moves.

It cannot tell you who opened it, and it forwards into the trade with last season's products wearing your name. The catalogue that updates itself, opens on the customer's phone, and captures the enquiry when he starts browsing is a different instrument:
