A CRM for aluminium and uPVC businesses

Nothing on your price list exists until it is made. Site measurements, fabrication in-house or outside, and the fitting — one job, on one record.

A trade that sells things that do not exist yet

Every window and door you sell is made to a measurement that did not exist when the customer walked in.

The old way1

A site visit

because the quotation depends on a measurement
2

Sizes change at drawing

and once more at site
3

Diary, slip, phone

three places a number can travel badly
4

Sixty millimetres wrong

and nobody can say which number did it

Selling made-to-size is a pipeline, not a counter transaction — and a pipeline run on slips leaks at every joint.

Quoted as one job, sized to the site

The work is quoted as a solution estimate — one price proposal for the customer, the full component list generated underneath — revised as the measurements firm up, with every revision kept and dated.

The sizes on the latest revision are the only sizes that exist; a superseded list cannot be picked up by mistake.

What the customer sees
  • One price proposal — for the whole job
  • Revised as measurements firm up — with every revision kept and dated
What fabrication sees
  • The full component list — generated underneath the proposal
  • Only the latest sizes exist — a superseded list cannot be picked up

Fabrication you can read, wherever it happens

Section, glass and hardware move to fabrication on delivery notes; the shortfall procures itself in parallel.

Fabricating in-house, you read progress on the order.

Fabricating outside — as much of this trade does — the fabricator joins as a team member, receives the delivery notes, records production and marks final goods, so his "Thursday" is a status, not a promise on the phone.

The fitting is the product

A window is judged installed, not delivered.

Fitting is recorded at site with progress and completion photographs, and the job closes on the customer's signed acceptance — taken on the phone at handover, with the balance payment standing on a record instead of a recollection.

From measurement to handover, one record

The number taken at site travels on the job to the fabricator, the godown and the fitter — the same revision, the same drawing, the same list.

The sixty-millimetre surprise stops being a mystery, because every number has a home and a history.
